Southern European Veterinary Conference
The Southern European Veterinary Conference (SEVC) is the collaborative effort of AVEPA (Spanish Small Animal Association) and the NAVC (North American Veterinary Conference).

AVEPA’s annual National Congress has been running for the past 40 years and is currently the second largest veterinary congress in Europe with more than 2,000 veterinary participants. The NAVC produces their highly respected annual conference in Orlando which has grown over the past 25 years to be recognized as one of the leading veterinary continuing education events in the world.
The SEVC is aimed at European veterinarians, with the main intended audience being practitioners in canine, feline, equine and other companion animal practice. The SEVC features multidisciplinary lectures as well as Master classes teaching seminars a practical “hands-on” laboratories and Workshops with top international speakers on practical and contemporary issues. The official languages at SEVC are English and Spanish although simultaneous translation in other languages will be provided. The chosen city for the conference is Barcelona. On the east coast of Spain, this modern scenic European city is highly accessible, has modern facilities with a vibrant culture and is blessed with a great Mediterranean climate providing mild temperatures in October. The conference is held at the Barcelona International Convention Center (CCIB), the largest convention center in southern Europe. The Autonomous University of Barcelona to use its modern veterinary facilities as well as staff to support the various SEVC wet labs and workshops. Today, the best type of meeting for veterinary practitioners is well organized, fun to attend and full of the latest, best information that is of practical use for veterinary clinicians. The SEVC is based on these principals.
