The Latin American Veterinary Conference (LAVC) and the College of Veterinary Medicine of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, are pleased to invite you to participate in the fourth annual LAVC (2008) to be held at the Convention Center of the Sheraton Lima Hotel , October 3 to 6, 2008.

This Continuing Education Conference has been specially designed to serve the Latin American veterinarian. All sessions will be in English or will have simultaneous translation into Spanish. The program is also an opportunity to acquire RACE approved CE credits in an exotic environment. In 2008 the program will cover three important areas: Companion Animal Medicine, Bovine Medicine and Equine Medicine and Surgery.

Speakers at LAVC 2008 include 13 distinguished professionals from the USA, Canada, Chile, Brazil and Europe.

The LAVC 2008 is pleased to present registrants the opportunity to participate in a Dentistry workshop. The workshop will be limited to 50 and will be filled on a first come first served basis. This workshop will be taught by Dr. Sonia Madrid (Chile) entirely in Spanish and will be conducted on the campus of the College of Veterinary Medicine of the University Nacional Mayor de San Marcos on October 2.

As in previous years, the LAVC will also feature the EXPO LAVC - an exhibit of commercial products and services for Animal Health.
