IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
In an effort to reduce the time to pickup registration materials, a barcode has been printed in the upper left corner of your confirmation letter. This barcode contains information which will expedite the check-in process. PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING YOUR CONFIRMATION LETTER CONTAINING THE BARCODE WITH YOU! Registrants should present this letter at one of the Document Pickup stations located at either the Gaylord or Marriott Conference Centers to pick up their document bag, name badge, and proceedings beginning at 2:00 pm on the Friday before the Conference. Document pick-up stations will be open from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday; 7:00 am until 7:00 pm Saturday and Sunday at the Gaylord and Marriott. Registration desks will be open from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday; 7:00 am until 7:00 pm Saturday through Tuesday; 7:00 am until 5:00 pm on Wednesday. Registration counters will not be open on Wednesday at the Marriott. We encourage you to avoid the rush on Saturday by collecting your materials on Friday.
Please note that parking is limited at the Gaylord Palms Resort. If you are staying at the Marriott World Center Hotel, Caribe Royale, or one of our overflow hotels we encourage you to park at that hotel and utilize our shuttle service. You may also park at our official overflow parking area at Old Town if you are driving from another location. Shuttle service is provided to the Gaylord Palms from the Marriott World Center, the Caribe Royale, all of our overflow hotels, and our overflow parking beginning at 1:30 pm on Friday. Also, please note that there is a charge for parking at the Marriott World Center and Gaylord Palms; and a transportation fee if you park at our overflow parking area. Parking/transportation fees are as follows: Gaylord Palms $12.00/day; Marriott World Center $10.00/day; Overflow parking $5.00/day. Registration begins at 2:00 pm Friday before the Conference
Please note that children and guests are not permitted in the sessions
Cancellations
Any registrant wishing to cancel a registration must do so in writing before December 1, 2007. No cancellations or request for refunds will be accepted after December 1, 2007. Labs, tours and meet-the-professors luncheons are non-refundable after December 1, 2007. Cancellation of these events will not be accepted on site at the Conference. Refunds requested after October 1, 2007 will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
Transfers
Any registrant wishing to transfer a registration to another person prior to the Conference must do so in writing before December 1, 2007. In order to transfer a registration onsite a letter requesting the transfer must be presented at the transfer desk. The letter must be signed by the card holder or check payer on the account of the original registration and must specifically name the recipient of the transfer funds. Onsite transfers will not be possible if this documentation is not provided and the registrant wishing to make the transfer will have to pay the full registration fee. Please keep in mind that you may experience long lines as the transfer process is a lengthy one. All transfers will be subject to a $25.00 transfer fee.
Hotels/Airline/Transportation Reservations
All hotel, airline, and transportation reservations are the responsibility of the registrant. A link is provided on our website to the official Conference hotels, but reservations must be made directly with the individual hotels by the Registrant. Information regarding discounts for Airlines and shuttle transportation from the airport is provided on our website and in our Conference brochure. All hotel and transportation reservations must be canceled with the individual hotels and transportation provider 72 hours before scheduled check-in. A charge for one night's stay may be applied to your credit card by the hotel should you fail to cancel before the 72 hour cutoff. Please remember to cancel all rental cars and air travel arrangements with the respective companies at least 72 hours prior to arrival.
